INTERNATIONAL FUR FEDERATION WELCOMES KOPENHAGEN FUR
IFF is proud to announce a significant milestone for the organisation and the wider international fur sector, as Kopenhagen Fur has formally joined IFF and becomes a member of the global fur community. With levy agreements now in place with more than six auctions worldwide, KF’s decision to join IFF represents an important step in strengthening unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility across the industry.
Through these agreements, IFF continues to play a central role in supporting and coordinating the fur trade by ensuring that skins are marketed within the recognised certification programmes operating under the Furmark label. KF’s membership reinforces a shared commitment to high standards, transparency, and responsible trade practices throughout the supply chain.
Commenting on this achievement, KF Chief Executive Officer Kasper Scott Reinbacher said:
“Joining IFF is an important step for KF. At a time when our industry faces growing political and societal challenges, it is essential that we stand together and promote fur in a positive and responsible way. IFF does exceptional work representing the entire fur sector, and we are proud to support the organisation. As KF develops in the years ahead, we look forward to playing a more active role within the international community and contributing meaningfully to IFF’s work.”
Welcoming KF as a member, IFF Chairman Johannes Manakas said:
“I am delighted to welcome KF to IFF. Their decision to join represents a significant achievement for our organisation and highlights the importance of unity across all auctions and all parts of the fur sector. KF has an excellent team and ambitious plans for the future, and we look forward to supporting them. By working together, we can help ensure long-term stability and continued success for the industry.”
KF is expected to begin selling skins within the coming months.
