Furmark® Futures Announces 2026 Finalists

The Furmark® Futures judging panel met on 10 November to review this year’s outstanding submissions and select the finalists. After careful consideration, the judges awarded First Place to Greece, Second Place to Spain, and Third Place to China.

This year marked the exciting rebrand of REMIX into Furmark® Futures, and the response exceeded expectations. We received 64 sketches from 61 universities worldwide, showcasing exceptional digital creativity from the next generation of talent. The diversity, innovation, and technical skill on display were truly remarkable.

Furmark Futures Competition Finalists 2026

The 2025 competition embraced the theme “Nature Forward”, encouraging designers to explore concepts inspired by the natural world while addressing the future of sustainability in fashion. This year’s programme placed a strong emphasis on education and building a deeper understanding of the Furmark® certification system. As the finalists move into the next phase, their digital concepts will be transformed into physical garments in collaboration with Furmark®-approved manufacturers, ensuring the highest standards of traceability, animal welfare, and environmental responsibility.

We now look forward to the physical launch in February 2026 at TheOneMilano, where the finalists’ designs will be brought to life and displayed for the first time. During the event, visitors will also be invited to participate in a public vote, selecting a fourth finalist to join the showcase. We encourage everyone to stop by and visit our stand.
